Hello! Benji Bear here again with another pie update! Our humans made my favourite meal this evening. Steak & ale pie. Yummeeeeeeeeeee! Lovely crumbly shortcrust pastry and tender steak pieces in delicious gravy that wasn’t too runny. Which is good because runny gravy makes a real mess of your fur. On the other paw, you can keep on enjoying it later. The humans said something about it being old peculiar, but I don’t understand that because it wasn’t old, they made it this afternoon, and it wasn’t at all peculiar. Or is that peculier? I’m not sure of the spelling because there was a bottle next to the pie that was spelt that way. Can anyone help? Anyway, here’s a picture of me (on the left) and my friend Nosey Bear checking out how much was left for our midnight feast.
